At our LaVida Apartments in Miami, the health and safety of our residents, management, leasing and service teams, and the community always come first. It is our service philosophy and belief that continues to guide our actions as we navigate the quickly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
We are closely monitoring guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the state of Florida and local Miami government entities daily. Information from these organizations is used to inform our community management, resident services, and our apartment leasing team with decisions that safeguard the well-being of our residents.
At this time, we have implemented numerous initiatives in our Miami apartment community in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, including but not limited to:
- Temporarily closing LaVida’s amenities including the fitness center, pool, office, and other common areas to reduce the risk of exposure and promote social distancing
- Limiting access to our office and communicating by telephone, email and text when possible
- Enhancing our cleaning protocols in all common areas
- Promoting responsible personal hygiene practices in LaVida’s common areas including proper hand-washing and covering coughs or sneezes
Our community team has guidance and added protocols in place to prepare for a wide range of potential scenarios, including residents that maybe diagnosed with Coronavirus (COVID-19) and for those who are self-quarantining. We recognize that this is a time of uncertainty and, now more than ever, it is crucial to have clear communications in place to ensure that information is useful and timely. We are committed to providing additional updates as further information is made available.
